The Kompong Khleng, which features the stunning city of silt houses situated above the water.

In Kompong Khleng there are an estimated 2,000 families living in houses on six to seven-meter-high stilts, where the water dramatically rises and falls seasonally. When the village is flooded with water the residents travel by boat, using bikes and motorbikes when it is completely dry.

Feedback from our Customers

Affinity was recommended by friends in Sydney. Didn’t disappoint. Highly knowledgeable guide who spoke great English and showed the way to avoid the crowds as much as possible in Angkor Wat temples and around Siem Reap. Definitely worth the extra to avoid the heat with aircon, fresh water and cold towels at every stop.

Absolutely amazing! Kim took us to around to the different temples in Angkor Wat and passed on so much interesting knowledge! Kim knew all the best places to get photos and even sent us home with a great profile picture nose-to-nose with the faces of Angkor Thom. Highly recommend Affinity to anyone that was to have an amazing temple experience in Siem Reap

My partner and I contacted Pilu with very short notice after some new friends made in Phnom Penh recommended Affinity Angkor to us. We are so glad that we did, as our tour guide Kim was excellent- he knew so much information about each temple and Angkor’s history, we really got an enriched experience due to his information and storytelling. Kim was friendly, welcoming and kept us in high spirits even in the extreme heat in Siem Reap at the moment: we’ve got some great photos in spots we would never have thought of on our own.

Our driver was also excellent, with a very clean vehicle (with great Air Con) and water to cool down. We thoroughly recommend Affinity Angkor and Pilu’s team to anyone visiting Angkor Wat in Siem Reap
